Four men charged

Two men aged 20 years and two men aged 44 years and 39 years have been charged with a number of offences including Attempted Armed Robbery and Carrying a Firearm with Criminal Intent.  The charges are believed to be connected to an incident at Cullybackey Post Office on 3 August.

The 44 year old and the 39 year old are further charged with Possession of Firearms in Suspicious Circumstances, Possession of Class A, B, and C Drugs and Possession of Class A and B Drugs with Intent to Supply.

One of the 20 year old men is also charged with Armed Robbery.  This charge is believed to be connected to an incident at Rosses Court, Ballymena on 2 August.

The men are expected to appear at Coleraine Court on Wednesday 5 August.  As is normal procedure the charges will be reviewed by the PPS.
