Suspicious object, Armagh

Police are investigating the circumstances of an incident in Armagh.
At around 11.15pm on Friday 28 March police were made aware of a claim that a suspicious object had been left on a pavement at Windmill Hill.
Army Technical Officers examined an object described as a crude but viable device. It was removed for further examination, and enquiries are ongoing.
