Armed robberies, Fermanagh and Tyrone

Police in F District are appealing for information following a number of armed robberies on Wednesday 16 December.

At approximately 2.30pm three men, one brandishing a hammer and the others hatchets, entered premises at Moore Street, Aughnacloy.

The robbers threatened staff before making off with an undisclosed sum, and a customers purse in a silver Audi car.

At approximately 6pm police recieved a report of an armed robbery at off licence premises on Clonfad Road, Enniskillen. Three masked men, one armed with a hatchet entered the premises.

They made off in a silver Audi car with a sum of cash and quantity of cigarettes.

A short time later at 6.30pm two males entered a convenience store at Main Street, Derrylin, and robbed the premises before making off in a silver Audi car in the direction on Enniskillen.

Police are investigating a link between all three incidents.

Police are appealing to anyone who witnessed these incidents or has information relating to them to contact them. They would also like to hear from anyone who has information in relation to the silver Audi car.
