Fatal road traffic collision, Ballytrim Road, Down

An 18-year-old female has died following a two-vehicle road traffic collision on the Ballytrim Road, the main road between Crossgar and Killyleagh on Saturday 19 December. She has been named as Megan Nash, from the Killyleagh area.
The collision, which involved a Renault Clio and Ford Ka, occurred at around midnight. Three other people were injured however they are not believed to have sustained life threatening injuries at this stage. The road remains closed at this stage and is likely to remain so for most of the morning.
Police are investigating and would appeal to anyone who was in the area and who witnessed the collision to contact them at Downpatrick on 0845 600 8000.
