Kidnap and robbery, West Belfast

Detectives are investigating following a report of a kidnap and robbery in Belfast on Tuesday 22 December.

It is understood that a number of masked males entered a house in the Andersonstown Road area of West Belfast in the early hours of Tuesday morning and forced a female to go to her place of work at The Park Centre. She was instructed to remove cash from the premises while her husband and daughter were held at home by the gang.

The victim’s were left very badly shaken but physically uninjured.

The woman’s car was later found abandoned in the Beechview Park area of West Belfast.

Detectives are appealing for information and witnesses and are keen to hear from anyone who observed a grey coloured Fiat Punto in the Ballymurphy area early on Tuesday morning.
