Male assaulted, Jamaica Road, North Belfast

Police in north Belfast are appealing for information after a male was assaulted in the early hours of Sunday 27 December.
At around 4am, the male was walking along Jamaica Road when he was approached by up to 6 unknown men. He was struck and fell to the ground where he was assaulted and had part of his left ear bitten off. The injured man was taken to hospital and treated for injuries sustained.
