Arrest, attempted armed robbery, Kennedy Centre, West Belfast

A 40 year old man has been arrested following an attempted armed robbery of a supermarket store in the Kennedy Centre this afternoon (Sunday 6 December).
Shortly before 1:30pm two men entered the premises and threatened staff with a knife before attempting to steal a television. The men made off empty handed and one was arrested a few minutes later by police. The other remains at large.
