Assault, North Belfast

Police in North Belfast are appealing for information about an assault.

Shortly before 9.30pm on Tuesday, 29 December, it was reported that a 14 year old boy, who had been walking in the Castleton area was approached by five men, one of whom appeared to be armed with a stick.

The 14 year old boy fled into the Dunmore area where he was assaulted in the garden of a house close to a petrol station.

Enquiries are ongoing.
