Murder inquiry launched, King Street, Belfast

Police investigating the death of a 19 year old man in the King Street area of Belfast, shortly before 6am on Saturday 5 December have now launched a murder enquiry.  The young man has been named as James Murray from the Glendowan Grove area of Lagmore, West Belfast and he died after falling from a ninth storey College Central apartment in King Street.  

Two people, a male and a female remain in custody and continue to help police with their enquiries.  Extensions for their continued detention are being currently being sought.
