Robbery, Twaddell Avenue, North Belfast

Police are appealing for witnesses following a robbery at a convenience store on Twaddell Avenue on Wednesday night, 23 December.  A lone male, armed with a kitchen knife, entered the shop at approximately 7.45pm.  He demanded cash from the till and when this was handed over the male ran off towards Ardoyne shopfronts.

The robber was wearing a grey hooded top, white coloured trainers and had a scarf covering his face.  He is described as being about 6 ft tall and of heavy build.

Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed a male fitting this description in the Twaddell Avenue or Ardoyne shopfronts around this time or anyone who may have any information to contact detectives at Antrim Road 0845 600 8000.
