Shooting incident, Carrigart Avenue, West Belfast

A 19 year old man has been shot in the legs following an attack in West Belfast on Wednesday night, 23 December. The man was bundled into a car by three men in the Hillman Street area at around 6.30pm. He was driven around for a short time before being taken to Carrigart Avenue where he was shot in the legs.
The man has been taken to hospital where his injuries are described as not life threatening.
Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact detectives at Antrim Road on 0845 600 8000.
