Stabbing incident, Cliftonville Road, North Belfast

Detectives from Antrim road are investigating a stabbing incident on the Cliftonville Road close to the junction with Manor Street area of North Belfast in the early hours of this morning (Saturday 5 December).

Shortly after midnight a 31 year old man had just left licensed premises when, he was attacked two unknown assailants.  He was stabbed three time in the upper back and received treatment in hospital for his injuries that are not believed to be life threatening.
