Street robbery, South Belfast

Police in South Belfast are investigating following a robbery in Ann Street shortly before 10pm on Wednesday, 16 December. It is understood that a man was attacked and robbed in an entry at Wilsons Court. His attackers struck him a number of times to his face and body before stealing his mobile phone, cash and jewellery.
Three men aged 19 years, 21 years and 24 years were arrested a short time later in Victoria Street and are currently helping Police with their enquiries.
Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident to contact detectives at Musgrave Street 0845 600 8000. Alternatively, information about crime can be passed anonymously to the Crimestoppers charity by calling 0800 555 111.
