Suitcase stolen, South Belfast

Police in South Belfast are renewing an appeal for information following the theft of a suitcase from the Donegall Square East area.
Some time between 8.30pm and 9.30pm on Saturday night, 19 December, a dark blue suitcase with brown corners was taken from a bench at the front of city hall. The suitcase contained personal belongings including cds, clothes and a large sum of cash.
Police have established that the suitcase was taken by two young males who made off down the alleyway beside Thompson's Garage. The males rifled through the suitcase before discarding it and making off with the cash.
Detectives are appealing to anyone who was in the area and witnessed the suitcase being taken or noticed the two males making off to contact them. They would also like to hear from anyone who has information in relation to this incident.
