Charges, stabbing incident, Warrenpoint

A 19-year-old male has been charged with wounding with intent, possession of an offensive weapon and two counts of assault on police. He will appear at Armagh Magistrate Court tomorrow morning, Monday 2 February.
As is normal procedure the charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
The charges relate to an incident in the Springfield Road area of Warrenpoint in the early hours of this morning, Sunday 1 February, during which another 19-year-old male received a stab wound to the groin.
