Hijacking in Crossgar, County Down

Police are appealing for information following a hijacking which occurred in the Crossgar area during the early hours of Saturday 7 February.
At approximately 3am, a silver coloured Landrover Freelander with a male driver and female passenger onboard was making it's way along the Cluntagh Road when it met a dark coloured saloon car blocking the road.
Three males got out of the saloon and two approached the landrover. These males forced the occupants from the vehicle before making off in the direction of Bells Hill. The third male followed in the dark coloured saloon.
It's understood the occupants of the car were not injured during the incident.
The three males are described as approximately 5' 9" tall and of medium build. All three were wearing dark coloured hooded tops. It's believed the males spoke with Belfast accents.
The stolen vehicle was later recovered at Turmennan Road, Crossgar, where it had left the road.
Anyone with information or ayone who was travelling on the Cluntagh or Turmennan Roads at approximately 3am and who noticed either vehicle is asked to contact police on 0845 600 8000. Alternatively information can be passed anonymously to the Crimestoppers charity by calling 0800 555 111.
