Security Alert, College Hill, Armagh

A security alert in the College Hill area of Armagh on Tuesday, 10 February, has been declared a hoax.
A suspicious object was discovered by local police officers on patrol in the city at approximately 8am. Army Technical Officers attended and a controlled explosion was carried out.
The object was described as an elaborate hoax.
Roads affected by the alert reopened shortly after 12.30pm.
