Armed Robberies, Ligoneil Road, North Belfast

Detectives are appealing for information following two armed robberies at shop premises on Ligoneil Road on Thursday, 12 February.
In the first incident a male armed with a large knife entered the store at approximately 7.25pm. He demanded money from a member of staff before making off with a small sum of cash.
At approximately 7.35pm it was reported a male armed with a large knife had entered another shop at Ligoneil Road, demanding money from a staff member. He made off with a sum of cash.
It's believed this male may have been accompanied by a second male who remained outside the stores.
The robber is described as approximately 5' 5" tall with brown eyes. He was wearing a dark coloured duffle coat, dark trousers, a dark scarf and light grey beanie style hat pulled down over his face with eye holes cut out.
Anyone with information or who witnessed a male matching this description in the area of the Ligoneil Road at around 7.30pm on Thursday evening is asked to contact detectives at Antrim Road police station on 0845 600 8000.
