Aggravated Burglary, Strangford Avenue, South Belfast

Police in South Belfast are appealing for information following an aggravated burglary in the Strangford Avenue area of South Belfast.
At approximately 9.50pm on Saturday, 14 February, the female occupant of the house answered a knock at the door. Two males pushed past her and demanded money. The female occupant was struck on the face before the men proceeded to a bedroom where a male occupant was struck about the body with a walking stick.
The men demanded money and drugs and ransacked the house before making off with a sum of cash.
The first male is described as being 5ft 10in tall and clean shaven with dark, short, cropped hair. The second male is described as being 5ft 9in tall and was wearing a light brown scarf to cover the bottom of his face. Both men spoke with local accents.
The occupants were very shaken by their ordeal.
