Assault, Coolessan, Limavady

Police in Limavady are appealing for information following an assault in the Coolessan area during the early hours of Sunday morning, 15 February.
At approximately 2.15am three males became involved in an argument with a group of up to 12 males.
One of the males sustained a stab wound and was taken to hospital for treatment. His injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
A 24 year old man was arrested and later released pending further enquiries.
Police are appealing to anyone who was in the area and witnessed the incident or has information relating to it to contact them on 0845 600 8000. Information about crime can also be passed anonymously to the Crimestoppers charity on 0800 555 111.
