Armed Robbery, Mill Street, Comber

Detectives are appealing for information about a robbery in Comber.

Shortly before 5pm on Wednesday evening, 25 February,, a woman entered a chemist shop at Mill Street armed with a handgun or replica handgun and forced staff to hand over prescription drugs.

The woman, who was wearing what appeared to be a high-visibility type fluorescent police jacket, made off towards the Belfast Road in a white three-door old shape Vauxhall Corsa driven by a second person. The car is thought to have a registration which began with the letters 'AEZ'.

The thief is described as 5'9 or 5'10 tall, aged in her 30s or 40s, of slim build, pale complexion and long dark hair tied back in a pony-tail. She was wearing red rimmed glasses, black trousers and black boots.
