Armed robbery, Antrim road, north Belfast 27/02/09
Detectives in North Belfast are appealing for information following an armed robbery at supermarket premises on Antrim Road.
Shortly before 8pm on Thursday, 26 February, a male entered the shop and jumped over the counter. He had a knife in his possession and made off with the till.
The male is described as being 19 or 20 years old and was wearing a baby blue and white striped top with the hood up and a pair of white trainers.
Police are appealing to anyone who was in the area and witnessed the incident or has information relating to it to contact them on 0845 600 8000. Information about crime can also be passed anonymously to the Crimestoppers charity on 0800 555 111.
