Serious Assault, Odyssey Area, East Belfast

A 19-year-old man has been taken to hospital with a head injury following an assault in the area of the Odysssey arena around 12:30am this morning (Mon 23 Feb). His injuries not believed to be life threatening at this stage.
Police in East Belfast are appealing for information regarding the assault and are particularly keen to speak with two men described as both 5'6" to 5'7" tall, dark hair, of medium build. One was wearing a light blue top with sleeves rolled up, dark blue jeans and white trainers. The second male was wearing dark jumper, dark coloured jeans and white trainers.
Anyone who witnessed the assault or who has any information is asked to contact police at Strandtown on 0845 600 8000. Information can also be passed anonymously to the Crimestoppers charity on 0800 555 111.
