Fire, Carmel Street, South Belfast

Police are appealing for information following a fire at a house in the Carmel Street area of South Belfast on Saturday 25 July.

At around 6pm it was reported a quantity of rubbish had been set alight close to the back door of the property.  The fire spread to the kitchen causing extensive damage to that room.

The NIFRS attended and extinguished the blaze.

There was no one in the property at the time.
