Charges murder of John Harbinson, North Belfast

The Historical Enquiries Team (HET) has tonight charged a 40 year old man with the murder of John Harbinson, the attempted murder and GBH against a 37 year old man. He will appear before Belfast Magistrates' Court in the morning, 23 July.
As is normal procedure the charges will be reviewed by the PPS.
The charges are in connection with Operation Ballast. To date there have been 16 arrests and 12 people charged in connection with Operation Ballast. A further four people are the subject of report to the PPS.
