High Risk Sex Offender - Police Appeal
28 Jul 2009
Police have this evening taken the step of warning the public about a high risk sex offender who has failed to comply with his probation conditions.
37 years old Paul Hunter Redpath left his approved accommodation recently and has not been seen since, despite numerous attempts to locate him.
Redpath is a convicted sex offender who is known to abuse alcohol and is considered to pose a serious risk to vulnerable children and young persons.
The PSNI are asking him to surrender himself to police.
They are warning the public that they should not attempt to approach Redpath but should contact their local police immediately if they believe they have information as to his whereabouts.
He is described as 6’1 tall, of slim build with dark spiked hair which is shaved at the sides, longer along the middle with a red tinge. He has blue eyes, a fair complexion and speaks with a Scottish accent. He has a piercing in his left eyebrow and when last seen was wearing jeans and a cream t-shirt with writing on the front.
Police are continuing their extensive efforts to locate Redpath.
