Hijacking incident, Lurgan

Police are appealing for information about two incidents in Lurgan, County Armagh.
At around 7pm on Thursday 16 July, a man driving a lorry at Allenhill Drive was approached by a group of men who placed an object in the vehicle.
Army Technical Officers examined the lorry a short time later in Lurgan. The object was declared a deliberate hoax at around 11.30pm.
Police are aware of further suspicious activity at Allenhill Park and would appeal for witnesses or information.
In addition, it was reported shortly after 12.20am on Friday 17 July that a taxi driver had been approached by armed men at Lurgan Tarry and an unsuccessful attempt made to hijack his vehicle.
