Indecent assault, Newmarket Street, Derry

Police in Derry are appealing for information about an incident in the city on Tuesday afternoon, 30 June.

It was reported that, some time between 3.30pm and 3.45pm, a girl aged in her early teens was approached by a man at Newmarket Street.

The man is reported to have behaved towards the girl in an inappropriate and indecent manner.

Police are treating the report as indecent assault and would like to hear from witnesses.
