Man injured, Killowen, Coleraine

Police are appealing for witnesses and information following an incident in Coleraine in the early hours of Friday morning, 3 July.
Around 5am a man, aged in his fifties, was located in the Killowen area with a head injury. He was taken to hospital where his condition is described as critical.
Police are working to establish how the man came by his injuries and believe he may have been in the vicinity of Strand Road earlier that morning. Police are keen to speak to anyone who may have been in the Strand Road or Killowen areas of Coleraine between 4am and 5am on Friday morning. Detectives can be contacted on 0845 600 8000.
