Police have launched a murder investigation following the death of a 29 year old man in North Belfast on the morning of Monday 6 July.
The man was found on the street in Brookhill Avenue shortly before 2.30am. It is understood that he had suffered a number of stab wounds.
A 46 year old man has been arrested. On the morning of Monday 6 July, he was continuing to assist police with their enquiries.
Detectives are appealing for anyone who was in the area to contact them at Antrim Road on 0845 600 8000. Information can also be passed anonymously to the Crimestoppers charity on 0800 555 111.
