Armed robbery, Argyle Terrace, Derry

Police in Derry are appealing for information following an armed robbery in the Argyle Terrace area.
At approximately 7.30pm on Monday 1 June, two masked males entered a shop in the area. One of the males was armed with a knife. The men took a sum of cash from the till and made off in the direction of Magee campus.
A 26 year old man was arrested and is currently assisting police with their enquiries.
Police would appeal to anyone who was in the area and witnessed the incident or has information relating to it to contact them on 0845 600 8000. Information about crime can also be passed anonymously to the Crimestoppers charity on 0800 555 111.
