Assault, Moyard Parade, West Belfast

Detectives in West Belfast are investigating an assault in the Moyard area early on Sunday morning, 28 June.
Just after 6am police responded to a report of a male being assaulted in Moyard Parade. On arrival officers discovered a male lying on the ground - he had sustained head and facial injuries. The 23 year old was taken to hospital where his condition is described as stable.
A 20 year old man has been arrested and is assisting police with their enquiries.
Police are appealing for witnesses and information. Anyone who was in the Moyard / Springfield Road areas in the early hours of Sunday morning or who may have witnessed anything is asked to contact detectives at Antrim Road on 0845 600 8000.
