Attempted murder, Coleraine

A man aged in his 40s was the victim of a serious assault in the Harpurs Hill area of Coleraine, County Londonderry, on the evening of Saturday 30 May.

Detectives are treating the incident as attempted murder.

Two men were arrested and, on the morning of Monday 1 June, were still helping police with their enquiries.

The assault is not believed to have been sectarian.
