Attempted murder, Downpatrick

Detectives in Downpatrick, County Down, are appealing for witnesses following an attempted murder in the town on the evening of Saturday 30 May.
Shortly before 8pm a man in his 20s was stabbed several times in Market Street, Downpatrick. Three assailants fled towards Market Street towards the town centre.
The man was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Two men were arrested.
