Cash in transit charges, North Belfast

A 25 year old man has been charged with robbery and possession of a firearm with intent to commit an indictable offence.
He is due to appear at Belfast Magistrates Court on Tuesday 32rd June.
A 23 year old woman has been charged with handling stolen goods.
She is due to appear at Belfast Magistrates Court later during June.
As is normal procedure all charges are subject to review by the Public Prosecution Service.
The charges relate to the robbery of a cash in transit vehicle at Ballygomartin Road in North Belfast on Saturday 20th June.
A number of planned searches were carried out in the Ardoyne area on Monday 22nd June.
A number of items, including a significant sum of cash, were seized from several properties in the Cranbrook Gardens, Alliance Avenue, Antigua Street and Antigua Court areas.
The 25 year old man was arrested in the Farringdon Court area. The 23 year old woman was arrested at Cranbrook Gardens.
A man aged in his 30s arrested at Cranbrook Gardens was released pending further enquiries.
