Paramilitary style shooting incident, West Belfast

A 17 year old male was taken to hospital with gunshot wounds to both legs following what appears to have been a paramilitary style shooting incident in West Belfast.
The incident, involving an unknown number of assailants, is believed to have taken place at a house at Westrock Park and was reported to police just before 9.15am on Sunday 7 June.
The man's injuries were not believed to be life threatening at this stage.
Enquiries into the incident are ongoing.
Police in Tennent Street are appealing for anyone who was in the Springhill Drive / Westrock Gardens area and may have witnessed any suspicious activity to contact them on 0845 600 8000; alternatively information about crime can be passed anonymously via the Crimestoppers charity on 0800 555111.
