Robbery, Castlereagh

Detectives are appealing for information about a robbery at Rosetta Road, Castlereagh, County Antrim.

At around 10.25am on Monday 8 June a delivery driver pulled up outside an off-sales and, when he stepped out of the van, was forced into the back of the vehicle by two males.

He was bound and the van was driven to Shelbourne Road, just off the Cregagh Road, where it was met by a second van.

A large quantity of cigarettes were moved from the delivery van to the waiting vehicle. The thieves then made their escape.
