Robbery, North Belfast

Police are appealing for witnesses following an armed robbery at commercial premises in North Belfast on the morning of Saturday 7 June

Just before 7am, a man entered premises close to the junction of the Antrim Road / Hillman Street. He approached a member of staff, produced a knife and demanded money from the cash register before fleeing along Hillman Street in the direction of North Queen Street.

No one was injured but the employee was shocked as a result of the ordeal.

A 32 year old man was arrested.
