Armed robbery, bank, Lisburn Road, South Belfast

Police in South Belfast are investigating an armed robbery at a bank on the Lisburn Road on Tuesday, 5 May.
At approximately 10.15am a man, with a firearm in his possession, entered the bank and demanded money from a cashier. He made off with a sum of cash towards Donnybrook Street.
The man is described as being 5ft 7in or 8in, in his mid to late 50s and was wearing a black scarf, jacket and baseball cap.
Police are appealing to anyone who was in the area and witnessed the incident or has information relating to it to contact them on 0845 600 8000. Information about crime can also be passed anonymously to the Crimestoppers charity on 0800 555 111.
