Assault and robbery, Plumbridge Road, Newtownstewart

Detectives in Strabane are appealing for information after a man was assaulted and robbed in his home near Newtownstewart in the early hours of Thursday, 14 May.
The man and his wife were in their home at Plumbridge Road, Pubble, when a man arrived at the door asking to use the telephone. The householder refused to allow him in, and the door was forced in by at least two men and two women.
The householder struggled with them and sustained knife wounds to his arms.
The gang made off with two wallets containing small sums of money.
Police are appealing for information from anyone who saw suspicious activity or strange cars in the area.
