Charges Kevin McDaid Murder

Seven men aged, 18, 29, 33, 42, 44, 48, and 50 have been charged with murder and attempted murder and various assault charges. A 23-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder and various assault charges. A 47-year-old man has been charged with affray and a 31-year-old man has been released on bail pending further enquiries.
The men charged will appear at Ballymena Magistrate court around 10am this morning Thursday 28 May.
As is normal procedure the charges will be reviewed by the PPS.
The charges relate to the murder of Kevin McDaid and attempted murder of Damien Fleming on Sunday 24 May in the Somerset Avenue and the Pates Lane area of Coleraine.
