Paramilitary style assault, Carrickfergus

Police are appealing for information following a paramilitary style assault in Carrickfergus.
A 24-year-old man was threatened and assaulted in an alleyway close to Glenfield Community Centre shortly before 1am this morning (Monday 13 May). It's believed the victim was assaulted by a number of men with pool cues. He sustained a broken nose and other facial injuries.
