Robbery, Windsor Terrace, Derry

Detectives in Derry are appealing for information following a robbery in the Windsor Terrace area.
Some time between 7.10pm and 7.15pm on Saturday, 16 May, a male called to the door of a house at Windsor Terrace. The elderly male occupant answered the door and was pushed through the hallway of his home and into a chair in his living room. The male demanded money and made off with a sum of cash.
The 84 year old occupant sustained bruising to both his arms and was left shaken by his ordeal.
The male is described as being approximately 30 years old, 5ft 9in or 5ft 10in tall, well built and was wearing a light green hooded top. He spoke with a local accent.
Police believe the area may have been busy at this time and are appealing to anyone who noticed this male or witnessed him calling at or leaving the house to contact them on 0845 600 8000. Information about crime can also be passed anonymously to the Crimestoppers charity on 0800 555 111.
