Serious sexual assault, Derry

Police in Derry have issued an appeal for witnesses to an incident on Friday 29 May.
It has been reported that some time between around 10pm and 11.15pm, a 14 year old girl was the victim of the serious sexual assault on the beach at Culmore Point. It is understood that a party was being held on the beach.
A 20 year old male has been arrested in connection with the incident and is continuing to assist police with their enquiries.
