Shooting incident, Duneden Park, North Belfast

A 30-year-old man has been taken to hospital with gunshot wounds to both legs following a shooting incident in the Duneden Park area of North Belfast last night (Monday 11 May).
Around 11:00pm the man answered a knock on his front door and three to four masked men forced their way in. Two of the masked males then shot him in both legs before all made off through the back door of the house.
A 22-year-old woman and a three-year-old boy were also in the house at the time of the shooting and although shaken by the ordeal were unhurt in the incident.

A motive for the shooting has yet to be established
