Aggravated burglary, Windsor Avenue, Lisburn

Detectives are appealing for witnesses following an aggravated burglary in the Windsor Avenue area of Lisburn on Friday 13 November.
A 77 year old woman answered a knock to her front door at around 5.15pm to be confronted by three males who pushed their way into the house. One of these males placed his hand over the victim's mouth and led her to the living room before searching the room. The other two males ransacked other rooms in the house.
The intruders smashed the house phone before making off with a number of bank books and a small sum of cash including some charitable collections.
All three males are described as between 25 and 30 years old, approximately 6' tall, wearing light coloured tops and dark woolly hats. All spoke with local accents.
