Hijacking, Dunville Street, West Belfast

Police in West Belfast are appealing for information following a hijacking in the Dunville Street area during the early hours of Sunday morning, 22 November.

At approximately 1am a 20 year old male was delivering fast food to an address in Dunville Street when he was struck on the head. His car keys were then taken and his car, a red Honda Civic, driven off.

The car was found burnt out close by a short time later.

The male sustained injuries to his head which required medical treatment and was left badly shaken.

Police are appealing to anyone who was in the area and witnessed the incident or has information relating to it to contact them on 0845 600 8000. Information about crime can also be passed anonymously to the Crimestoppers charity on 0800 555 111.
