Robbery and kidnap, Main Street, Dungiven

Detectives investigating the robbery of a man on Main Street, Dungiven on Friday afternoon, 27 November, have issued an appeal for information.
Just after midday a 74 year old man was forced into a car close to Ulster Bank on Main Street. The man was driven off in the car and dropped at the Tirbracken Road, outside Drumahoe, a short time later after a sum of cash had been taken from him.
Police are continuing to establish the exact circumstances of the incident and would like to speak to anyone who was in the Main Street or Tirbracken Road area around these times and witnessed the man being taken or dropped off.
