Serious Crime Operation, drugs recovered and arrests

Two males, aged 41 and 27 years, remain in custody assisting police with their enquiries following a proactive operation by the PSNI's Organised Crime Branch. The men were arrested on Saturday 7 November in the Armagh and Lisburn areas. A substantial amount of suspected Class B drugs with a street value of £500,000 and a large amount of cash were also recovered. The operation was carried out in conjunction with the Garda National Drugs Unit assisted by the Monaghan Drugs Unit, who arrested one man in the Monaghan area.
