Robbery, Newtownards

Police are investigating an incident where a loan collection agent was attacked and robbed in Newtownards yesterday evening, Friday 6 November. The man was walking along Ballyreagh Way shortly before 8pm when he was set upon by two males wearing hooded tops. The males punched the victim a number of times before stealing cash which had been collected from the local area. They then made off on foot.
Police in Newtownards are appealing for anyone with information about the incident to contact them on 0845 600 8000. Alternatively, information about crime can be passed anonymously to the Crimestoppers charity by calling 0800 555 111.
